Tell Us About Yourself

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I still reside with my husband, George and our son, Vangelis (20). I am first generation from Greek descent. I learned to speak English in kindergarten. I love to travel, shop, cook and entertain. I have been a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan for years and enjoy watching football and baseball. I have been in banking for 20 years. Before starting my banking career, I owned and ran Mexican restaurants, and I was in the medical field as well.

What Is Something About Yourself That Would Surprise Us?

I was asked to cook live on Channel 2 during the morning news when I owned my restaurant. I made carne asada tacos, guacamole, pico de gallo and sopapillas. I also had Fox 13 come to my restaurant and feature us live with a variety of dishes during the morning news. In addition, my siblings and I had a food truck selling cookie dough, and our flavors were based around Greek gods.

What Is Your Favorite Sport?

Since I am a major 49ers fan, my favorite sport is football. When NFL season is here, you cannot pry me away from the tv set.

Do You Have A Favorite Inspirational Or Movie Quote?

One of my favorite quotes is by Angela Bassett, "Don't settle for average. Bring your best to the moment. Then, whether it fails or succeeds, at least you know you gave all you had."

What Is Your Favorite Travel Spot?

I love Crete, Greece where my family is from. I love the beaches, ancient history and the food.

How Have You Grown Personally Or Professionally While Working At Banterra?

I was in retail banking/management prior to working for Banterra. I feel like Banterra has allowed me to excel with my sales skills, client experience and relationship building with clients and colleagues within the bank. I feel we are genuinely a team here. We care about each other and want to see growth within our team members by focusing on additional tools and resources for our clients and most importantly giving exceptional client experiences. I am truly blessed to work for such a great company.
