Who Is Christina Tuthill?

I am a native of Southern Illinois that has lived in multiple areas throughout Banterra’s footprint while working for the bank. My husband and I have three boys, ages 18, 14 and 12 who keep us on the go. Whether it’s learning a new hobby, sports, or other interests, we stay very busy. My family also adopted a lab-mix puppy last fall that keeps us all on our toes. In my free time I enjoy hiking, photography, and volunteering in the community.

What Is Something About Yourself That Would Surprise Us?

My first pair of glasses were literally smaller than ones that are made for a cabbage patch doll.

What Did You Want To Be When Growing Up?

When I was growing up, I wanted to become a teacher.  

What Is Your Favorite Sport?

Any sport that one of my kids is playing. Otherwise, I get bored watching.

What Music Do You Enjoy?

I can happily listen to most genres throughout the 1950s to present day.

How Have You Grown Personally Or Professionally While Working At Banterra?

Within the last 20 years I started working for Banterra’s corporate office as an intern while attending John A. Logan College (JALC).  Once I completed my internship, I was offered part time employment at the title company while still completing two associate degrees and five certificate of achievements. Over the years I worked my way from an entry-level position to an Assistant Regional Manager. Five years ago, I transitioned to the bank’s Compliance Department while I pursued my bachelor’s degree in business management. To continue growing my knowledge, I worked through the required and necessary training to achieve the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager designation, allowing me to advance to my current role as Assistant Compliance and CRA Officer.
