Tell Us About Yourself

I enjoy my work and being active in the community. I am a member of Paducah Professional Women, am Board Chair for Livwell Community Health Services, have been Treasurer for Paducah Cooperative Ministries, and am on the board for Four Rivers Highland Society. This year, I graduated from Leadership Paducah class #38 and was just recently commissioned as a KY Colonel. I am married and have three sons. My eldest son also works for Banterra. I enjoy traveling, camping, songwriting, music, antiques, home improvement, trivia, and building fires.

What Is Something About Yourself That Would Surprise Us?

I had a band called The $ellouts for about seven years that played locally in Paducah and surrounding areas. One year, we even got to play Porkstock for BBQ on the River. 

What Music Do You Enjoy Listening To?

So much! My current favorites are probably The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Caamp, Glass Animals, Taking Back Sunday, The Maine, All Time Low, and Josiah and the Bonnevilles. It changes though.

Do You Have A Favorite Inspirational Or Movie Quote?

I have two favorite quotes. "Don't walk in front of me... I may not follow. Don't walk behind me... I may not lead. Walk beside me... be my friend" by Albert Camus and "Quoth the Raven... Nevermore" by Edgar Allan Poe.

If You Could Meet Anyone In The World Dead Or Alive, Who Would It Be And Why?

I would like to meet Thor and don’t really need to explain why. Also, my great, great grandchildren, so I can see first-hand how our decisions today impact our future generations.

How Have You Grown Personally Or Professionally While Working At Banterra?

Banterra has helped me learn the real value of work culture. I was a mortgage lender for 25 years and switched to Private Banking just under two years ago. It has been a change in tempo and a learning process. However, I can honestly say that working with a great group of people, having a supportive, positive environment that encourages growth, and following strong mentors has helped me. It feels good to be a part of a great team.
